Doc,
on the outside, is a gruff, no nonsense man.
He scowls a lot, but he has a heart of pure gold. More often then not, he treats people not
expecting to get paid. When he is
paid, it’s usually in trade for some handiwork or foodstuffs. A widower, you have no desire to get
involved with any woman again.
Instead, you bury yourself in your work and in research. You’ve been able to amass a small
library of medical books and spend your spare time in them.
