Murder at the Golden Spur

Setting: The wild west town of Coyote Bluff at the foot of the High Sierras of California, the year 1869. After having a short run gold strike, the town has now settled down to a more or less peaceful settlement of ranchers, farmers, loggers, a few miners and the usual shop keepers. When it's a little less peaceful the law steps in having a local Marshal, Sheriff and two deputies. That is until just recently. Deputy Didy Duette came in to the Golden Spur and crouched next to the sheriff. "Someone go fetch the Marshal!" he shouted, "The sheriff's been murdered!"

But, who-dun-it? That's what your guests must figure out.
