Bea traveled to California in search of making a small fortune. She had heard of the discovery of gold at
Sutter’s Mill when she was a little girl. She had dreams of owning her own business
and living in luxury. The Golden Spur
does alright, but she’s not what she would have called wealthy. The gold all but dried up and the town
settled into a mode of just making a living.
That’s better than most of the ghost town’s around. She’s happy to still be in business.
